In May, we took part in the KIT Forum — the Kyrgyz Information Technology Forum — the largest event in the country dedicated to digital innovation and technologies.
The forum brought together a vibrant mix of business leaders, government officials, IT specialists and enthusiasts, international and local experts, students, and educational institutions — all under one roof to explore the future of technology.
We were honored to join the panel session “Building Tomorrow: How AI is Shaping Smart Cities,” where we shared insights on the growing role of artificial intelligence in urban development, and how it can help build safer, smarter cities.
At the KIT Expo, we also showcased a prototype of our mini Smart Crosswalk — a small but powerful step toward smarter pedestrian infrastructure, driven by real-time sensing and AI.
In addition to the forum, we participated in the first International Scientific Conference, “Industry 4.0 Technologies – R&D Trends,” hosted by the High Technology Park.
Dr. Lim delivered a keynote speech titled “Bridging Continents: Korea, the USA, and Kyrgyzstan Through Engineering,” sharing his journey through academia and industry, and what brought him to lead CAEDMI AIT and THE Tech here in Kyrgyzstan.
Dr. Heyd followed with “Startups in Technology: The CAEDMI and THE Tech Experience,” offering real-world insights into launching and growing deep-tech startups in the region.
It was an inspiring week full of ideas, collaboration, and forward thinking — and we’re excited to keep building the tech future, right here in Central Asia.
Additionally, our Director of Public Relations, Andrew Heyd, gave an interview to the national Kyrgyz TV channel UTRK.
